MSt tutor Jenny Lewis’s Gilgamesh Retold<\/em> (Carcanet Classics, 2018) was heralded on publication as being, ‘innovative, graceful, erudite and utterly unputdownable,’ and selected as a book of the year by publications including New Statesman<\/em>, London Review of Books<\/em> and\u00a0The New Yorker<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Gilgamesh Retold<\/em> has recently been dramatised and will be performed as a verse play in Oxford on Thursday 24 November 2022, 19:30 at St Edmund Hall, alongside The Tyring House<\/em>, by Lynn Thornton. Tickets available here<\/a> or at the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
