Literary Review: monthly poetry competition

The Literary Review has a monthly poetry competition –  the next month’s theme is announced in the current magazine, and the rules are fairly straightforward: all poems must rhyme, scan and be 24 lines or fewer. Poets may enter 2 poems per monthly competition. First prize £300, second £150, £10 for every poem published thereafter.

In addition, the 11 winners over the course of the year are entered into the grand poetry prize – £5,000 and a posh dinner in London. Pick up a copy of the magazine for more information.
